Chapter 153 The accident came first
Thinking about the fermentation fertilizer, Lu Miao was full of energy. Before finishing the meal, she thought about going home with Chen Guifen to pick up pumpkins.
Chen Guifen stopped her: "Eat first, I'll bring it to you tomorrow."
"Okay, hehehe."
Lu Miao didn't He laughed out loud.
Chen Guifen remembered what Fu Jingyou had told her. Lu Miao was afraid of being alone at home, so she asked Lu Miao:
"Are you afraid of being alone at night? If you are, go sleep with your aunt tonight."
"Um ..."
Lu Miao hesitated for a moment and shook her head, "It's okay, Auntie, I can do it alone."
Actually, she was still scared, but she was so old, so she said it. It’s too embarrassing!
And excluding fear, Lu Miao still has something else to do.
For fertilizer, she really had to calculate the ratio.
Seeing that she was determined, Chen Guifen said nothing more.
After Lu Miao finished eating, Chen Guifen took the bowls and chopsticks and went home.
Lu Miao tidied up briefly and quickly closed the door. Holding the kerosene lamp tightly in her arms, she walked to the kitchen behind to prepare to boil the bath water.
There were two large buckets in the kitchen, and Fu Jingyou had filled them before leaving.
Ladle water to boil water. The large wooden basin used for bathing is usually very heavy, and it is almost impossible to move it after absorbing enough water.
Lu Miao abandoned the idea of using a large wooden basin, mixed hot water and cold water in a small wooden bucket, and washed her head in the backyard.
I used a small wooden bucket and washbasin together and took a bath in the kitchen aisle.
After pouring the water, she carefully bolted the back door, and went back to the room with the lamp in hand, feeling refreshed.
After closing the door and pulling up the curtains, the entire space was sealed, and Lu Miao felt much safer.
There was a pen and letter paper in his luggage. After putting away the lamp, Lu Miao took out his things and sat at the long table by the window, lowering his head and working.
At this stage, in a wide range of rural areas in our country, people mix vegetable leaves, straw, feces and water to make fertilizer.
In traditional farming, retting means just throwing in whatever you have.
Throw out some rotten vegetable leaves today, and pour some rotten fruits and kitchen waste swill tomorrow. It is a continuously superimposed process, so it takes a long time and fermentation is slow.
Lu Miao happens to know that a fermentation method is significantly different from retting in nature and results.
Although Lu Miao only took half a semester of freshman courses before traveling through time, she noticed a method called Berkeley composting in a public theoretical class on ecological recycling.
Retting belongs to cold compost, anaerobic compost, and anaerobic bacterial fertilizer generally operates at the groundwater level, so when retting, it is often necessary to dig a pit.
Berkeley composting is a hot composting and aerobic composting.
Aerobic bacteria live in the upper part of the groundwater. If the conditions are not met, they will not be able to survive and composting will not be successful.
Berkeley composting is generally carried out on the soil surface. There are three elements that need to be paid attention to.
1. Adequate oxygen.
2. 60% humidity.
3. Carbon to nitrogen ratio of 25:1.
If the three elements are adjusted, aerobic microorganisms will multiply rapidly and accelerate decomposition, during which heat will be generated.
If the temperature of the compost body can be maintained at around 65° for two to three days, insect eggs and some harmful bacteria in the compost body will also be effectively eliminated.
This is also a major advantage of hot composting.
In addition to killing most of the insect eggs and germs, traditional retting generally takes half a year, eight months or even a year to take shape. Berkeley compost is more efficient and can produce fertilizer in as fast as 18 days.
If this method is controlled and used flexibly, more than half of the fertilizer problem in Dahe Village will be solved.
Even if everyone can be mobilized to act together later, all the fertilizer problems needed will be solved!
The more Lu Miao thought about it, the more excited she became, and the more she felt that this was a big deal.
Lu Miao was busy late that night.
The more than ten pages of letter paper in her hand were almost filled with her writing.
From the initial preparation, to various precautions, problems that can be encountered at present, and related solutions, she clearly listed them one by one.
Lu Miao was gearing up. If it weren't for the fact that it was already dark and she couldn't see anything outside, she would have wanted to take action now!
After reading the manuscript under the lamp for a long time, Lu Miao pressed the manuscript with a pen and turned off the lamp to sleep with satisfaction.
Before, Lu Miao was thinking about things in her mind and her attention was focused all the time. Lu Miao didn't feel scared.
But when she was lying on the bed, the whole room fell into darkness, her thoughts returned, and she couldn't help but become afraid again.
Lu Miao pulled the quilt over her head and fell asleep.
In the autumn night, she could tell whether it was cold or hot, but when she slept with her head covered, Lu Miao felt stuffy and deflated. She was covered in sweat after a while, but she just didn't dare to lift the quilt.
I don’t know how long it took, Lu Miao fell asleep. She relaxed physically and mentally, and became a little bolder. Although she was still scared, she felt uncomfortable when the quilt was shriveled. She gradually lifted a corner of the quilt, revealing A small half face.
When I was very sleepy later on, I even gave up on myself. If I thought there was a ghost, I would be a ghost! Just come out and scare her to death, so as not to feel so uncomfortable.
Lu Miao kicked the quilt away with a sweet sound, turned over and fell asleep soundly.
At night, Lu Miao had a dream about practicing Berkeley composting.
In the dream, she worked hard to encourage herself to work harder, and many people were willing to follow her, which made people happy.
Later, she was woken up by the cold in the early morning. She got up and pulled up the quilt in a daze, and then realized that it was a dream. When she was half asleep and half awake, the thoughts in her mind were very pure. She thought that she must be positive when dawn comes. Take action.
Once it is done, not only will the problem be solved, but no one will dare to talk behind her back that she is a useless lazy woman.
Even a lazy woman.
She must be a lazy woman with skills and brains...
Thinking this, Lu Miao tilted her head and fell asleep again.
She wanted to get up early and work, but she was used to being lazy, and Fu Jingyou had always been spoiled by her, so she had long developed the habit of snoozing without knowing it.
At nine o'clock in the morning, the door of Fu's house has not yet been opened.
Lu Miao was still asleep, but the scattered noises outside the door disturbed her dream.
Facts have proven that one can never tell which one will come first, accident or plan.
"This is it!"
"Huh! It doesn't look like a place for good things to live! Who of you are going to knock on the door?"
Lu Miao just woke up, and she felt bad because she was so angry when she got up. The movement outside the house made her temporarily confused.
It wasn't until the "duangduangduang" door was slammed with brute force that Lu Miao gradually realized what was going on.
While Fu Jingyou is not at home at this moment, people came to the town to attack...
"Open the door! Is anyone home? Open the door quickly!"
The banging on the door became more and more intense, and it was not something that could be avoided without going out.
