Our super factory plan is based on two cores. The first is 100% localization; the second is making full use of Qindao City’s resources.
As an international port, there is also a developed railway and road network here. We plan to build a smelting plant directly at the port of Qindao City. Ore, coal, etc. from all over the country and all over the world will be smelted directly here.
In addition to steel, there are also titanium, aluminum, magnesium, copper, tungsten, etc., all metals are smelted here. The first step to rationally utilize Qindao City is to establish a super and complete port smelting plant.
Immediately afterwards, in the west of the smelting plant, extending to the direction of the master company, a further metal processing plant will be established, where it will be initially processed into profiles that meet standards, etc. Such as steel plates, steel bars, aluminum materials, copper wires, etc.
Next, we will continue to establish a metal processing industry cluster in the west of the metal processing plant, where deep processing of metals, etc. will be carried out, and even the self-replication of machine tools will be carried out. All the required components are as small as screws and tools, as large as football field-sized fifth-generation nuclear power components, hundreds of meters long rotors, etc.
All metal products in the future space base will be perfectly processed here.
The processed components will be finally classified, packaged, or briefly assembled.
Such a three-section factory plan, if successfully constructed, will form a 100-kilometer-long industrial belt. Finally, some mechanical equipment manufacturers still set up an industrial zone of 50-100 kilometers near Gaoshou Company, one of the world's top industrial zones. All equipment, etc., we have to get a perfect solution in this industrial zone plus an industrial belt.
Once these are completed, an emerging aerospace high-tech base connecting the country will be formed.
And the next third part is of course our core, the space base!
To be precise, the space base did not start after the third part was completed. In fact, according to reasonable split calculations, we have a part of the construction of the space base that can start now.
First of all, we plan to build a ten-square-kilometer space photovoltaic power station. According to existing information, if the Gaoshou Company wants to build a photovoltaic power station in space, the cost per square meter will be about 10,000 yuan, and one square kilometer will cost 10 billion yuan. The cost per square kilometer is 100 billion yuan.
The power of sunlight near the earth is 1,400 watts per square meter, which is converted into electricity per hour, which is equivalent to a little more than 5 kilowatt hours of electricity. Of course this is a wrong calculation, just for intuitive observation.
The maximum efficiency of currently mass-produced photovoltaic cells is around 50%. However, in the space environment, it is completely guaranteed that photovoltaic cells can output maximum power at all times. Therefore, in theory, ten square kilometers can provide 25 million kilowatt-hours of electricity for the space base, which is equivalent to recreating the Three Gorges Project. It can fully meet all normal needs of the space base.
At the same time, some basic components with relatively low precision requirements can be ordered from major domestic factories before our super factory is established, and then transported here via ships, trains, etc., and sent to space.
If the plan goes well, the skeleton of the space base can basically be completed before the super factory is established. Some automated operating machines can also be sent to space, and we can perform three steps of activities at the same time. Although this may require a lot of manpower and material resources, in today's world environment, we would rather trade money for time within the range we can afford! ”
