Situation Description
The child had a high fever last night. After taking antipyretics, the temperature became normal. But this morning the fever reached 39. I took her to the hospital for examination today and was diagnosed with influenza A. The fever reached 39.8 and the heart rate was around 130.
Oxygen, physical cooling, and infusion were all used, but the heart rate was still very high.
The community hospital couldn't handle it, and they were worried about causing myocarditis, so they had no choice but to transfer us to another hospital.
Now I am waiting in the fever clinic of the emergency department of Children's Hospital.
