Chapter 1 Preface

Chapter 1 Preface

The boy woke up from his dream.

She panted slightly, cold sweat wet the ends of her hair on her forehead.

Slowly sitting up, the moonlight shrouded the young man's figure through the floor-to-ceiling windows, and everything around him was hidden in darkness.

It seemed like she was the only one left in the world.

He leaned weakly against the head of the bed, letting the boundless sadness swallow him up like a tide.

I don't know how long it took, but Ke Yue finally came out of the dream. Her dull eyes began to focus and gradually gained energy, but they still seemed like a pool of stagnant water that no longer flowed.

He raised his wrist and looked at his watch: a quarter past two in the morning.

He grabbed the windbreaker jacket that was hanging on the chair, put it on him casually, turned around and walked up the stairs.

"Ta...ta...ta..." The lonely footsteps of the young man were recalled in the empty villa.

Ke Yue came to the rooftop.

An exquisite glass flowerhouse was built on the rooftop, with many flower stands inside. Potted plants of various sizes were placed on it in an orderly manner from bottom to top. There were various varieties, and each pot grew well. It can be seen that its owner put a lot of thought into it.

In the center of the greenhouse is an elegant grand piano. The piano was covered with white cloth, making it impossible to see the whole thing. It looked like no one had touched it for a long time.

Passing through the flower garden outside the glass room, Ke Yue walked straight into the flower room and sat on the swing chair next to the piano.

The young man suddenly laughed, "It's so quiet..." she thought.

Light up the phone and enter the password to unlock it. A few taps on the screen with slender fingers revealed a team's information.

"Team Black and White..." Looking at the content displayed on the screen, the young man murmured to himself, and suddenly laughed, "It's really similar to Ace back then..."

Don't let me down...

A glimmer of light flashed in Ke Yue's eyes, but quickly disappeared. It all seemed to be an illusion.

Turning off her phone, she took out a bottle of sleeping pills from her pocket, took one out and swallowed it.

He raised his head and took one last look at the starry sky, then let his consciousness fall and slowly closed his eyes.

It was endless darkness again. (End of chapter)
