Chapter 5 Durian Bread

Kyosuke, who returned to the room, ignored his empty stomach, quickly changed into home clothes, and lay down on the bed again.

There was silence around him, he closed his eyes and fell asleep almost instantly.

After an unknown amount of time, the heavy curtains were not tightened, and sunlight filtered in along the gap in the middle and fell on the floor.

From time to time, footsteps could be heard outside the door. The sound and frequency sounded like those of a child. Kyo Sosuke woke up from his sleep, turned over, and his consciousness was rising and falling in the sea.

Kyo Sosuke was awakened repeatedly by the noise downstairs and the play outside the window.

He tossed and turned on the bed, and after confirming that he couldn't sleep, he simply stood up. The fatigue on his face had not dissipated, his silver eyes seemed to be closed, there was a chicken coop above his head, and the marks of the pillow remained on his face.

Kyo Sosuke went to the bathroom, and when he came out, his hair had become soft, and his fair face had a pair of eye-catching dark circles.

The empty stomach sounded a final warning.

My stomach will start to hurt if I don't eat.

Kyo Sosuke has been dealing with his stomach for many years, and he has long been familiar with its temperament.

If he doesn't eat anymore, he will protest.

In order to prevent himself from being tortured to death, Kyo Sosuke decided to go downstairs to find something to eat.

There was almost no one in the whole building. It seemed like everyone else was playing outside.

On the first day after arriving, the teacher from the welfare home took Kyosuke around the entire building and introduced all the areas. He especially introduced his own kitchen and was more interested in his cooking skills. It's a big boast.

In order to find something to eat when he woke up from hunger in the middle of the night, Kyo Sosuke deliberately noted the location of the kitchen, so even if it was his first time to go to the kitchen, he could easily reach the place.

The kitchen was kept very clean, with no water stains on the countertops, and even the kitchen utensils looked brand new.

As a welfare home, it is naturally impossible to be so luxurious and not update kitchen utensils regularly. It is only because the people who use them cherish these kitchen utensils that they can be used for many years and remain as they were at the beginning.

Kyosuke opened the refrigerator directly, and it was full of desserts.

He couldn't help but recall the first time he met the teacher at the welfare home. The teacher introduced himself:

"I am Yuki Shitara, a teacher at Fengchi Children's Welfare Home. I am very good at making desserts. If you have a favorite dessert, please feel free to tell me."

An unshaven old man who didn't look like he knew how to cook.

I didn’t expect that he was really good at making desserts.

There was also a note posted on it. Kyo Sosuke took a closer look and it read: "It's not a good habit to steal food. I specially left some food for you."

Drawn below is an arrow and a Q-version villain with a mushroom head.

Kyosuke:......

Kyo Sosuke looked along the arrow, and the Q-version villain with a mushroom head materialized, holding various kinds of bread in his arms, and complained:

"You came down too slowly. The rice left for you has been completely cold. Now we only have these breads."

His silver eyes trembled, and Kyo Sosuke was unprepared. He almost slammed the refrigerator door with a trembling hand, but luckily he managed to hold on.

When did this person appear? ? ?

I'm not that vigilant, right? Was my attention diverted by the note or was this person here from the beginning?

In an instant, countless speculations flashed through Kyo Sosuke's mind.

No matter what kind of person they are, it is enough for a passionate person to deal with one person before, and they don’t want to deal with another person.

With a solemn face, Kyosuke closed the refrigerator and walked towards Umenomiya. He took away a few pieces of bread in an instant and kept walking, planning to go upstairs.

A voice came from behind:

"Are you really going to fight without me? I'm super powerful~"

"No!"

Kyosuke coldly refused and disappeared from the corridor without looking back.

Mei Gongyi was not discouraged. He glanced at the bread in his arms and found that several durian-flavored ones were missing.

Unexpectedly, Kyosuke actually likes durian.

Fortunately, the bakery on Fengling Street has all kinds of flavors, so I picked up a few of each.

Speaking of which, the uncle has been worried that no one will eat the durian bread. I believe there will be new customers in a few days. Mei Gong thought to himself, and when he raised his head, he saw several little heads at the entrance.

? ? ?

Without changing his expression, he put all the bread in his hand into the cabinet, then walked up to them and rubbed each head "hardly":

"If you don't play with them outside, what are you doing here?"

A pair of dark eyes were full of worry: "Brother Mei Gong, are you okay?"

Mei Gong felt soft at the bottom of her heart:

"Of course it's okay. Don't worry, I know what's going on."

At this time, Kyo Sosuke had already sat back in front of the computer, his silver eyes reflecting the dense code.

He concentrated on the analysis, unconsciously picked up a piece of bread on the table, tore open a corner of the transparent bread bag, stuffed the bread into his mouth, and moved his mouth.

! ! !

When you bite into the crispy bread crust, a faint durian sweetness spreads on your tongue.

The unique dense texture of durian perfectly blends with the taste of bread.

In the middle of the meal, there is durian-flavored cream, which is soft and silky.

Kyosuke quickly finished the entire bread, rarely taking his attention away from the computer. He grabbed the transparent bread bag and looked over it, finally finding the red words "Wind Chime Bread" in the corner.

Such delicious bread, but the packaging is so unpretentious?

These words are worth amplifying! Put it in the middle of the bag! Disdainful of other breads!

Kyo Sosuke quickly ate the remaining bread, balled up several packaging bags into a ball, and threw it into the trash can far away like a basketball.

The packaging ball was thrown low, drawing a parabola in the air and falling right into the trash can.

Nice, right in the heart.

Kyo Sosuke's attention returned to the computer, looking at the code on the screen, thinking for a while, and then put his hand on the keyboard and tapped a few times.

The code is replaced with a map.

He clicked on the search box in the upper right corner and searched for the words "Wind Chime Bread".

The map quickly zoomed in and stopped on a certain street.

Isn't this...Kyo Sosuke squinted and looked at the map carefully...the street in front of Fuchi High School?

How does the bakery survive?

Kyosuke typed a few more keys.

The map was replaced by a surveillance screen, showing a certain street with various shops on both sides of the street, including Wind Chime Bread.

The street looked like any other, the only difference being that no one was fighting in it.

If this matter were placed outside, it would be a very common thing, but in this area, especially at the intersection of his street not far from Fengchi High School, it would be very strange.

No one is fighting?

Kyosuke refused to believe it. He clicked the mouse on the computer and switched the screen, taking pictures of Wind Chime Street from different angles.

Surprisingly, no one was actually fighting.

Instead, he saw several people about his age enthusiastically helping the shops on this street.

Kyosuke:......

What's wrong with this world? Is it already so magical?

Kyo Sosuke, who didn't understand what was happening on this street, cut the scene to other streets.

There were fights going on in other streets.

Sure enough, this is the only street like this.

……

Forget it, as long as it doesn't delay him from buying bread.

Kyosuke put aside his doubts and switched the screen back to the code. His silver eyes slid left and right, his mouth slightly pursed, and he quickly scanned the code in front of him. The faint white light hit his face, making the dark circles under his eyes even more conspicuous.
