If 20 hot stamping parts are added to a vehicle, and the monthly output is 10,000 vehicles, 200,000 hot stamping parts will be needed.
According to working 26 days a month, more than 7,000 parts are needed every day.
If stamping dies are designed one by one, then one line cannot even meet the monthly output of 10,000 units of one model.
If one mold produces two molds, then basically one hot stamping production line can meet the needs of one model.
In other words, basically, BMW’s current needs require two or even three production lines.
If we want to supply large-scale products to automobile giants such as General Motors in the future, we will naturally need to prepare more production lines in advance.
Otherwise, when the procurement, R&D and other factory audit teams come to inspect the site and find that you can't even meet the most basic production capacity, you will be causing trouble for yourself.
