A New Year’s letter to book friends

I didn’t expect another New Year’s letter so soon.

A year has passed and this book still has not exceeded 500,000 words. I am really ashamed. I am too lazy.

The performance of this book is very poor. Part of the reason is because of the update. However, when I updated it before, it did not improve. Coupled with practical reasons, the update can only start to fail.

But I will definitely continue writing until the book is completed. It is expected that the number of words in the completed book will not be less than two million, and may be more than three million.

The plot of the dungeon has always been a whole, so before opening the dungeon, it is necessary to clarify the main line and context. When writing, if there is any lack of consideration, the plot must be changed, which makes it difficult to produce a novel.

Book lovers will comment on the plot and wisdom of some books, but actually writing good logic is far from simple. Because the author has a God's perspective and knows the direction of the plot, he will ignore character logic when writing in order to achieve a certain plot goal.

To write a good logic, the author has to abandon God's perspective, take on the role, and judge the next move based on the current situation and personality. This is not an easy task. The author has multiple roles and can be called a writing version of the character. Pretend game.

When I write articles, there is no detailed outline except for the general plot direction, world view setting, and character setting. This leads to the development of the plot, and sometimes there are unforeseen details that exceed my original expectations.

While this was fun, it seriously slowed down the writing.

If I were writing about routines for beginners, I would be able to pick them up easily. I have never seen any routines. Unfortunately, I am quite serious about this book (laughs).

This book also contains a little bit of my exploration of writing style, cool points, and setting.

As a result, the writing style sometimes seems a bit erratic, sometimes it is ridiculing, and sometimes it is as cold as expository writing. In fact, the latter is the style I am better at. I’m actually not sure what the cool point is, and I won’t intentionally shape this aspect in the future.

The world view behind this book should be considered huge. If I have a new book in the future, the world view will be in the same vein, but I can’t pour it all out, I can only integrate it into the deep background of each copy. middle. The world view that this dungeon is currently carrying is quite important, even more important than the core gameplay.

In terms of characters, Wei Miao is a Hunxie (middle) person. The role she plays must have some similarities with her personality. I have also prepared some interesting roles.

Saving the world or destroying it actually doesn't matter. What Wei Miao values more is what she can get from it.

A little digression. In many books, the protagonist is always willing to defy heaven and kill gods. But if gods are so easy to kill, how can they be called gods? They have lived for countless years, seen countless geniuses, and are also extraordinary and beautiful people. If they are sent easily, then they are just stronger people and cannot be called gods.

This is the basic concept of God in this book.

Here, I would like to thank the leader of Ling Feifei for the rewards and donations, as well as all the protectors, hall masters, helmsmen, and all the book friends who support me! I will keep every recommendation, monthly ticket, tip, and comment you have in my heart!

Wei Miao could not have gone all the way here without your support!

She will go on unswervingly until the end.

In the new year, I wish me diligent coding, and I wish all book friends good luck, peace and success!

PS: This chapter is an Easter egg chapter, and there are event rewards for barrage interaction.
