Chapter 81 Remarks on the release
Thank you for the invitation, it’s time to put it on the shelf.
But according to the outline I originally wrote, this is not the point to put it on the shelves at all.
Based on the current progress, it will take an estimated four to five million words to get to the point where it will be released on the shelves. At that plot point, the highlights are also the highlights of the protagonist.
I rushed the plot so quickly in the beginning just to be able to complete this plot point before it was put on the shelves.
Only then did I realize that I still hadn't caught up. I had no choice but to learn from Horn and start thinking about how to wipe my butt.
Originally, Danji's change should not have been so drastic, and his conversation with Madeleine should have occurred before and after the first war with the church.
But in order to keep up with the progress, I omitted this paragraph.
As a result, it was supposed to be half happy and half sad, but now it has become alternately happy and partly sad, which is very inconsistent with my original thoughts.
But the matter has come to this, instead of regretting it, think about how to minimize the loss.
This is what Horn does often.
Speaking of which, at first I really liked adding memes to characters’ names.
I often say that there is actually a secret to the name Horn.
You may have seen Gjallarhorn in a certain Gundam work.
But in fact, its original meaning is the Galar Horn, a prop used by Haierdam to awaken the gods when the giants invaded.
Jeanne d'Arc is Joan of Arc's name.
Chilves is taken from Zola's famous novel "The Little Hotel", in which the heroine Chilves is also an alcoholic.
Duldafo is taken from the Dardufo in Molière's play "The Hypocrite". Sometimes I accidentally label Durdafo as Dardufo, please forgive me.
Madeline is taken from Hugo's "Les Misérables" and is the pseudonym of Jean Valjean.
Bishop Barnyforth is taken from the missionary, Barnyforth in France's "Theis".
Gwynplaine is taken from the protagonist Gwynplaine in Hugo's "The Man Who Laughs". He is also a clown, and his wife Dee is also blind.
Danger Hurd is taken from "Don Quixote".
There are many other characters like this hidden in it, you can guess who they are.
Back to business.
The story itself is also a pile of bed frame houses.
At the beginning, I just wanted to write a story about "God is dead, the Yellow Emperor shall rise" and let the Yellow Turban Army travel through time to rebel in the Middle Ages.
But I feel that the writing style cannot handle this subject for the time being, and this direction is a bit sensitive.
So it was changed to the story of a medieval uprising, and the background was to prepare for the Hussite War.
Then I thought it was a bit too bland and couldn’t write it in the later stage, so I changed it to magic to change reality, and added Joan of Arc to fight Hus for thirty years.
Then I found that writing the early stage in this way was too bland, and this part of the information was too vast, so I simply made it a fantasy.
Then I saw the book "The Emperor's Dream", and I wanted to use the story in it to enhance the early laughter.
Then I thought of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, and then wrote the story of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom. Then unconsciously, this part of the content became absurd, so I simply added more absurd and tragicomic elements.
Then I found that there were too many people writing about technology trees like magic and gunpowder, so I searched for it and found the concept of clock punk. I thought it was very good and it would be suitable for it. Replaces the normal tech tree.
The story became like this little by little.
Basically every time I modify the outline, characters, and background settings, I keep the previous part (because I’m lazy).
Pile on top of each other, the story that runs on this bug is formed.
For example, Joan of Arc was not with the protagonist at the beginning. She would lead the Crusaders to attack during the Hussite War, and then be captured. Her personality was cheerful and straightforward.
After going through Shishan iteration, he became the proud loser he is now.
For example, Carrie's ecological niche was Sissi at the beginning, and Sissi was the hostess of the Megdi Chamber of Commerce at the beginning (now Catherine).
After some iterations, Sissi not only lost her position as the heroine, but also became a man.
When the editor was reviewing the manuscript, he told me that the characters of the male and female protagonists were not very likable and asked me to find a way to change the female protagonist’s.
I have to say that Canaan is indeed very discerning. Many people were criticizing this in the early stage.
But I revised it for a long time, but still couldn’t change it, because if I changed her, the characters and plots of many subsequent heroines would have to be changed, and the entire outline would have to be changed.
So, to a certain extent, this book is also a straw team built on a mountain of shit.
But now, this grass-roots team is about to be put on the shelves. Originally, according to my plan, I was going to save 100,000 words to update it.
My current progress is 2,000 words.
I try my best to update, but due to some practical reasons, it is difficult for me to do so.
It’s not that I don’t want to explode. I don’t write full-time. I am doing an internship and going to school at the same time.
Other authors' updates are all porridge, porphyrin, porphyry, porphyry, porphyry, porphyry, porphyry, porphyry, porphyry, porphyry, etc., but I basically can only see the situation.
There is a high probability of an explosion on weekends, and then it will have to languish for three or four days before it explodes again.
Anyway.
It will be on the shelves tomorrow. I hope readers will support me and recommend monthly subscriptions. I beg for everything. I beg you.
(There is my own kowtow dubbing here. If not, it has not been approved.)
I hope you like this book.
Thank you for being with me until now.
Finally, on behalf of the Papal State, I canonize all the readers of this book as:
The word "King of Side by Side", the official ceremony of opening the palace with the cardinal, using the papal ring, adding nine tins, and a false festival axe , He entered the court without following, praised and worshiped without a name, went to the temple with swords and shoes, commanded all the military forces of the Holy El Empire, and led the patriarch of the five major pastoral areas in the Middle-Earth from afar.
In the future, when going to court, everyone can sit on a row of dragon chairs and listen to the government and read books at the same time.
I appreciate this.
