Summary of Volume 3

Summary of Volume 3

Volume 3 is finally over.

Originally I didn’t want to write a summary, so I planned to leave it until the fourth volume was completed. However, the outline of the fourth volume has not been sorted out yet, and there will be no update today, so I will briefly summarize it.

The third volume is relatively long. It was originally planned to be about one hundred chapters, but ended up writing more than one hundred and thirty chapters. The main reason was that the plot of Dugu Luoxue was a little messed up.

The subsequent plot did not speed up much, it was written step by step. As I said before, I will focus on the harem later, and the other plots will speed up the pace.

This volume is quite controversial, mainly because of the wedding plot. The author used the plot conflict method from decades ago to darken the heroine, and the result is very bloody. However, the outline is set like this, and it would be troublesome to make major changes, so I just wrote it down like this.

In addition, some readers may think that the backend is broken, but the author personally feels that it is okay. Anyway, he is following the outline plan step by step. The foreshadowing that should be buried and the holes that should be filled are not left out, so I personally did not see it. Nothing will collapse.

If you really feel this way, it means that the book is not well written, and the author's level can only reach this level.

The original plan of the third volume was to write about the collapse of the dynasty, and the climax of the plot was the wedding and the murder of the emperor by Ran Qingchen, and then led to the introduction of the immortal, which was closely linked to the Anhe Village massacre. I felt very excited when I was designing it, but very tired after writing it.

In fact, everyone who is familiar with my style knows that I just like to dig holes and fill them in, and achieve the ultimate reversal. From the moment Er Liang was picked up by Jiang Shouzhong, the reversal of Er Liang's identity was buried in the third volume, and there were also many foreshadowings in the middle.

For example, Jiang Wan died when Ran Qingchen was eight years old. According to the setting of the reincarnation of the relic, he was currently around twelve years old. For example, Yan Changqing and Luo Wanqing both felt that Erliang's talent in swordsmanship was amazing, as well as the emperor's delusion, the whereabouts of the relic, and other foreshadowings.

Furthermore, there is the grudge between the two heroines, from the grudge in the previous life to the grudge in this life, adding some dramatic conflicts.

There are also other character or plot reversals, as well as the fullness of the characters. For example, the supporting character Lu Renjia is timid, cunning, and a typical dog-licker, but after all, he still has a tragic and loyal side.

Another example is Zhang Yunwu, who has a mellow and kind personality, and his identity as the reincarnation of the relic is also a big foreshadowing, and will help Jiang Shouzhong solve big troubles in the later stage.

Even for some villains who don’t have many roles, I will try to give them some fullness, such as Zuo Su.

All in all, I don’t think the book collapsed or anything, it’s just that the writing wasn’t good, so the grades got worse and worse. Gradually, he gave up on the detective suspense that he was good at, and tried to follow the path of the traditional fairy tale, but unfortunately he didn't have the ability in the end.

Of course, since I have written it all here, I must write it completely. As an aside, as the pace of life has become increasingly fast in recent years, more and more authors are cutting books frequently.

Authors who have achieved good results will frequently cut books due to unsatisfactory early data or poor later performance. Readers also began to become cautious. Once they saw that the data of a book was not good, they would guess that the author was going to run away, etc. Then they began to wait and see, not daring to subscribe rashly, and eventually fell into a vicious cycle.

So sometimes I see comments in my comment area saying that the author wants to run away. Especially when I stopped reading for three days due to medical treatment, it really gave people the illusion of running away.

Here, let me explain again that this book will definitely be finished. And it won’t end hastily like the previous book. Even if there are interruptions in the process, don’t panic. Either the author has gone to see a doctor, or the text has not been written. I will update it as soon as possible.

I will write out all the emotional scenes and storylines that need to be dealt with. As for whether it looks good or not, that’s up to the readers to check. However, the current results are not good. But I won’t cut the book because of this. Even if I write slower, I won’t run away.

Back to the topic, let’s talk about the subsequent plot.

Next, the world will really fall into turmoil, and the villains or decent characters who appear will no longer be the celestial beings or the giants in the realm of ascension. Many hidden powerful characters will appear in this era of strife, and the scenes of other heroines will also be staged one after another, striving to ensure that every heroine has an emotional scene.

The Water Moon Dream Mirror in the fourth volume is naturally the nightmare Jiang Shouzhong had before, the conflict with Queen Shura.

But the important heroines in the fourth volume are not Qu Hongling or Ran Qingchen, but Jiang Yi and An Jing. To be precise, Jiang Yi will have more scenes.

Other supporting roles will also be explained, such as Lu Renjia Zhang Yunwu.

Anyway, that’s it.

Again, the following plot will focus on the harem.

Thank you for your support, okay.
