End of Volume Remarks 20

End-of-Volume Remarks 2.0

Actually, I quite like writing remarks, because for me, this is one of the few places where I can communicate well with readers.

However, when the time to code four thousand words every day is limited, it would be too luxurious to lose the share to the speech.

So I waited until the second volume was finished, and then I forced myself to save some manuscripts and chat with you.

I don’t want to start with the story itself, but let me talk about some of my thoughts in the past few months since I started writing online articles.

This book was opened on January 31st and has been written for half a year now.

900,000 words, more than two mystery books for me.

I used to pay great attention to comments, which are the most direct link between readers and authors. I really like the paragraph comment function of Qidian. It is particularly interesting.

But now... something is different.

To be honest, writing novels is not just for making money, as it is not a full-time job.

My definition of this book is "a refreshing piece of writing", so I don't want to write something profound or highly valuable.

But I still hope to get some feedback. Writing novels is a hobby, so naturally I hope to communicate with people all over the world through words.

If some people have positive feelings after reading it, then I have done something meaningful.

This book has received many comments that impressed me. For example, I felt that Li Yan’s reflection on his own escape touched some readers and felt that this novel was meaningful.

Some readers feel that this novel can give him some strength.

I was very happy after watching it.

I try hard to write cool articles, and I also try hard to make cool articles more than just cool articles.

Or some weird readers, I really laughed when I saw "My second brother is invincible in the world".

I really didn’t think about this.

The negative reviews are equally impressive.

But maybe my sensitivity to bad reviews is a little different than what is common.

I know the "silent majority" very well, and I also know the truth of "you can't like everyone".

So for some opinions that deny and criticize me, just read them.

Most of the time, I treat it as a social observation. For example, when I see the heroine, I ask to start the offensive directly. I think it will not be fun enough if I don’t start the offensive.

A lot of people have been abandoned in that area, and the data doesn’t lie.

Also, when I saw Gu Ziyu's first provocation, I thought the male protagonist just threw him to the ground and lifted him high and gently lowered him, hoping to remove Gu Ziyu's arm.

As soon as this piece was put on the shelves, a lot of people said it was poisonous and abandoned it.

There is also basketball. I don’t know what book friends who insist on reading it think about when they look back at that plot - in terms of details alone, that period was very chaotic and it was indeed not well written. But those who can persist in watching it probably don’t have any special ideas.

The people who left have left. What I am more interested in is the people who left and then came back. What will they think when I look back at the plot now.

Many people in that plot thought that the protagonist’s handling was too cowardly and frustrating, or that they felt that conflicts were forcibly created. After the explanation was given later, they thought it was just to make up for it. Or maybe in their eyes, I had been making up for it for many chapters. Bar.

A wave of people also left here.

Of course, when it comes to this, we still have to go back to a cliché point - "amnesia".

This is the plot point that persuades most people to quit, right at the beginning.

These are not only bad reviews, but they have also lost a lot of readers. During this period, there were also some outrageous bad reviews.

But as for the negative reviews themselves, I’m actually not that affected.

I have no intention of explaining the "rationality" of various plots here. Everyone has their own opinions on this stuff, and it doesn't make sense to talk about it.

Reading along the way, there are basically answers in the book.

The real impact of these comments on me actually comes from shaping my understanding of "Internet writing".

And this understanding is really not very wonderful. There are many things in it that I don’t understand or that I can understand but can’t accept easily.

The most critical point, and one that I personally cannot understand, is that readers seem to have formulaic requirements for online articles.

At first I thought I had misunderstood, so I looked through the comment sections of many other books.

I also asked the editor and found out that readers have restrictive requirements for the categories and tags of online articles.

One of the highlights of the "Rebirth Article" is the use of memory as an information gap. "Without this, there is no rebirth."

There are many other opinions, which does not mean that they are everyone’s opinions, but they appear more frequently:

All the outstanding women who appear in the main text of the novel should belong to the male protagonist; the novel uses What kind of logic do you need to have fun? If you want to learn Bawen, you should study number theory, chips, and controllable nuclear fusion, and the main plot is to engage in this research...

I was so scared that I just gave him the label of top student.

Although from the outline and the positioning of "the top of mankind", the protagonist will certainly touch these things, but I still hope that the freedom of "how to touch" and "how much to touch" is in my own hands.

Even what competitions must be participated in and what research must be done at what time have become formulas, so why should I write them down?

I still hope that these words also apply to the principle of "a small number of people who like to talk can make most of the noise".

I even hope that those who make these voices are just authors who have been tortured by "routines".

As for the specific situation, I can’t do any research anyway, so I’ll just stick to it. Anyway, I stuck to what I should have insisted on. However, I would like to respond here specifically. I personally have a deep understanding of everyone’s preferences for radish and green vegetables, so it is impossible for me to have any trouble with some comments that have taught me how to write articles.

I once ridiculed a comment in a book circle about teaching me how to write a book. I replied with something like "teach me", which caused misunderstanding among readers who supported me. The entire comment was later deleted. , here is a special statement.

I recently received a comment saying that amnesia is an interesting little breakthrough in a rebirth novel, and that if the protagonist knew everything about the future, the story would lose its charm and authenticity.

I might have been very happy to receive this comment before, but now I feel calmer.

I once thought that many people would hold such opinions.

After talking about the more emotional things, let’s talk about something more rational.

Results and updates.

These two things are actually closely linked. Without updates, readers will be less enthusiastic about reading, and once they have read the book, they will never look back.

Even if you follow it all the time, just a little bit every day, you will forget everything before, let alone any foreshadowing and care for these things.

The amount of updates also highly affects the intensity of smart push. If there are few people coming in every day, the number of subscriptions will naturally not increase.

Currently, this book has an average order of 4,000. After the first bestseller, it was already 4,500, but then it slowly dropped back to 4,000.

In fact, I know the reason. There are even fewer chapters, two thousand words for one chapter and two chapters a day. The sales volume will definitely not be good. If it is not good, it will have to be downgraded. It is a vicious circle.

The way to break it is very simple, just update more and you will be done.

Some seniors always complained about me, saying that I had such good results at the beginning but dared to make a fourth in the third month.

It’s not that I don’t value it, nor that I think highly of myself.

It’s just helplessness.

Novel cannot be my main job, so my time must be eaten up by work.

For example, on April 28, this book was the first recommendation, best-selling selection.

I am happy, and so is the boss of Zhenguan. He asked me to save the manuscript, and when the time comes, it will explode and increase sales.

I agreed and started to explode.

It just so happened that I was extremely busy due to unexpected matters during that half month, and I had almost used up all the time to save manuscripts, so I saved my money for the only rest day before the 28th - damn it of rest.

Then I had to work an extra day that day, which was just a full day.

Then I also worked overtime on May Day.

During the period when there was supposed to be an explosion of updates, the daily volume was almost not stable.

There really isn't much I can do, that's what it's like with part-time jobs. I pursue stability, but I don't have enough courage or energy.

I just wanted to write a decent story.

This book is not very popular, so the effect of being recommended is not good. It is "toxic" at the beginning. The success it has today is all due to the fact that more readers have read it.

There are quite a few readers who criticize at the beginning, question in the middle, and then discuss and praise at the end. I am quite happy reading all the way.

But I know the pain of reading, especially when there are so few updates every day.

There are many plot points in this book that were criticized when it was serialized, but later readers who read it praised it.

It’s purely the difference between chasing a book and reading it in one sitting.

I want to be a little more conservative, ignore logic a little more, and write a little more exaggeration.

The mood is up, there are a lot of updates, and readers don’t care too much about some logical details. Anyway, it’s fun.

I can't do it. I type very fast, but I can only write a cool article at 2,000 words per hour.

If the plot is difficult, 1200 is considered a high price.

(Of course, if you think I am already very good, there is nothing you can do about it. You can only say that my skills are insufficient)

So I try not to ask for leave, and I don’t ask for monthly tickets or recommendations from everyone. If necessary, I will give you a reminder of some transitional chapters that I find boring.

It is unavoidable that the updates are not in place, the website does not provide resources, and readers keep reading.

Of course I hope this book will have better results and in turn inspire me.

But if I can’t even update, how can I have the dignity to ask for support from everyone?

This book earns thousands more dollars a month. Compared with some plots that can really touch everyone, I would choose the latter.

Forget about operations and stuff, I will just write a book quietly, and at most make some character cards. I will draw a picture of the character, but there is too little time. I don’t know when I will finish the drawing. Let’s set it up first.

In addition, I think everyone knows something. The price of a chapter is determined by the number of words, not set by the author himself.

In addition, if it is updated once a day, the number of words in a single chapter is also the number of words in two chapters combined. It does not mean that a single chapter is updated less.

Some helpless things cannot be changed, but there are also some persistence that will not waver.

From beginning to end, I just like writing stories.

See you all in volume three.

(Die Gejia: Although there are many real-life names in this book, and some time points are consistent, the following parallel world will be increasingly influenced by Li Yan and become more and more consistent with the real world. To leave, please enter the world in the book)
