Summary at the end of Volume 1

Summary at the end of the first volume

Let me briefly summarize the end of the volume. Let’s chat casually. If you have any opinions, you can post them here. I will read them.

First of all, let’s talk about the word count of the first volume of this book, which is the chapter about the martial arts master.

Originally, the word count for this volume was around 250,000 words. Unexpectedly, I couldn’t control it. I got a little more excited and managed to get around 330,000 words.

Of course, in the final analysis, it is still due to my own ability. There are still many areas that need to be strengthened in terms of the rhythm and narration of the story. I am completely incomparable with those big-name authors. I have to apologize for this, and I will learn more about it in the future. Attention.

This volume mainly focuses on martial arts in the mortal stage, and finally leads to the protagonist's path to immortality.

But everyone can rest assured that it is impossible for the protagonist to practice martial arts and it will be useless in the future. I think some people have guessed that the world of Jiye is now in the end of the Dharma era. You need to train your physical body to be stronger. That's definitely true. Exploiting the resources of an entire world can be regarded as a big reliance on the journey of cultivating immortality in the future.

Then let’s evaluate the first volume as a whole. In fact, if I want to score it on a ten-point scale, my personal satisfaction with the first volume is only seven points.

There is a sense of chivalry, and the taste of Jianghu is quite sufficient.

But the climax at the end is not exciting enough, and the writing is not exciting enough and soul-stirring.

In fact, when writing this volume, I considered two bosses for the protagonist. The first one is Tuvahar, the leader of the horse thieves who appears first, and the second one is the Nine Lotus Gate.

But in the end I chose Tuvahar, because at the beginning of the chapter I spent a little time describing him as an arrogant hero. Later, the Jiulian Sect actually spent a lot of writing to try to add a sense of oppression to this Jianghu sect, but unfortunately it was not able to appear as the boss in the end.

Then I thought about it many times myself, would it be better if I chose the Nine Lotus Gate for the final boss?

Regarding this question, I can’t give an accurate answer here.

Some people may ask why not write the two bosses together. I have indeed considered it, but I still firmly rejected it.

Because the space and word count are really not enough, after all, it is a Xianxia channel, not a martial arts channel! ! !

Alas, in the final analysis, I am still a bit dissatisfied. Due to my own abilities, I was unable to give this martial arts volume a satisfactory ending for everyone. I am here to apologize again! Sorry everyone!

Every time I think about this, I admire Jin Yong more and more for his ability to write such excellent martial arts novels, which are soul-stirring and passionate.

Sure enough, like the protagonist Li Qing, I still have a lot to grow up in. This feeling of having empty ambitions but not being able to realize them is really uncomfortable.

In any case, the next step is to enter the chapter on cultivating immortals. I hope everyone can continue to support me.

The name of the next volume is "The First Journey to Immortality". I have a lot of ideas for this volume, and I have also laid a lot of foreshadowings. I will fill in the holes one by one soon. I am still very excited. Yes, there is a foreshadowing that has been going on for a long time. I feel like you have almost forgotten about it, but don’t worry, I can remember the hole I dug!

Well, that’s it, let’s encourage each other!
