Chapter 53 The Tathagata cuts off the meat and feeds it to the eagle

Chapter 53 Tathagata cuts meat to feed eagles

"Well you monster, you must have killed Master, let us avenge Master!"

Zhu Bajie and Monk Sha suddenly frowned and picked up their weapons.

Even if Zhu Bajie is planning to divide his property and run away, if the person who killed his master is right in front of him, he will never let him go.

Bai Longma was suddenly startled. He remembered that he had come to the scripture-seeking team before the two of them, and had been existing in the form of a horse since then. The two of them had never seen him in human form.

Ao Bing turned back into a white horse and said, "Do you two senior brothers recognize me now?"

The two quickly put away their weapons, and Bajie said: "White Dragon Horse, so you can become a human?"

Bai Longma said: "I was originally the son of the Dragon King of the West Sea. I was demoted to a river as a monster because I broke the glass lamp given to my father by the Jade Emperor.

Later, after being instructed by Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, the guardian master went to the west to obtain scriptures.

But because I accidentally ate Master's horse, the Bodhisattva turned me into a white horse and carried Master to the West to obtain Buddhist scriptures. ”

Zhu Bajie: “That’s it.”

Monk Sha: "Then why did you tell us not to abandon Master? Could it be that the charred corpse on the ground is not Master?"

Bai Longma said: "The scorched corpse is naturally not the master. The master was captured by the white-bone spirits in the White Bone Cave.

That monster was very powerful. I lost a battle with him and was seriously injured before I escaped.

Now please two senior brothers, go and rescue Master quickly.

You must be quick, otherwise Master will be cooked and eaten. ”

"What?"

Monk Sha and Zhu Bajie were surprised and happy. Of course they were happy that their master was still alive, but they were surprised that the monk was caught by a monster and they didn't know if it was too late to rescue them.

The two of them quickly flew into the clouds and mist, following the white dragon horse to fly to the White Bone Cave.

"When I defeat Tang Seng's other two apprentices, I will cook and eat Tang Seng. Then you will all get a share of the pie."

After defeating Ao Bing, Madam Bai returned to the cave and held a banquet. The little monsters in the entire cave were filled with joy. They did not expect that her wife would be so capable now.

They all congratulated Mrs. Bai.

Over there, Bai Ze was alone and came to the cave where Tang Monk was imprisoned.

This Tang Monk must be released, because Tang Monk's Buddhist scriptures are of great significance to the Eastern Tang Dynasty. Only if the true scriptures are spread to the Tang Dynasty, monsters and ghosts will appear in the Tang Dynasty. If the true scriptures are not spread to the Tang Dynasty, then the Tang Dynasty will be destroyed. It will be the same as the area around Baihuling, where humans and monsters live together.

Is this a good state?

As a monster in Baihuling, Bai Ze knows the cruelty of all this better than anyone else. Human bodies are suitable for cultivation, and it seems that they should be stronger than monsters, but in fact it is just the opposite.

The human body is suitable for cultivation, but the ability to grow is good. No one is born with great magic power.

On the other hand, monsters don't know how long it will take them to cultivate a perfect human body, and the speed of cultivation is naturally not comparable to that of humans.

However, the biggest characteristic of monsters is that they have powerful magic power from the moment they are born.

Just like Bai Ze and his mother, from the moment they were born, they knew how to use bone claws, corpse dismantling techniques, fascination techniques, and corpse lifting techniques.

After being promoted to Demon King, you will automatically unlock the ability to refine the will-o'-the-wisp skull.

Therefore, if the human territory was not guarded by the underworld, it would have been completely wiped out by monsters.

But the abilities of the underworld are limited, just like the monsters in Baihuling. Don’t they often eat people?

If Bai Ze was born to be a monster, he might not think about this.

But after all, he was once a human being, and monsters could run rampant in the world, but he didn't want the Tang Dynasty to be like this. He couldn't control the world, but he could control the Eastern Tang Dynasty, which was his former hometown.

As long as the true scripture spreads to the Eastern Tang Dynasty, most of the monsters will move away from that land, and the rest will not be able to make any big waves.

Therefore, Monk Tang’s study of scriptures must be successful!

As for Dongsheng Shenzhou, were the humans in Xihuo Niuzhou massacred by monsters?

Sorry, these humans are not familiar with me, why should I care about them?

However, Tang Seng's flesh and blood is indeed a treasure. Since it is in his hands now, it would be a pity to let it go for nothing, so Bai Ze found Tang Seng.

When Tang Monk saw a child in white arriving, he subconsciously felt that the child was cute. However, when he remembered that it was this child who had changed his identity and deceived his great disciple Sun Wukong, and then deceived himself into this cave, he felt shuddering.

Bai Ze came to Tang Monk and said: "Elder, I have some questions about Buddhism to ask you." "..."

Tang Seng never expected that the first thing the monster said was to ask for Buddhist teachings?

Have all the monsters started eating fast and chanting Buddha’s name?

Tang Monk said: "Little donor, please speak."

Bai Ze said: "In the past, there was an eagle chasing a sparrow and trying to eat it.

The sparrow said: "Why are you chasing me? You and I are both studying Buddhism under the Buddha. The Buddha taught not to kill, so you can't kill me." ’

The eagle said: "I don't want to kill you, but I am a carnivore. If I don't eat you, I will die." ’

The sparrow desperately fled to Tathagata and asked for Tathagata's protection.

The Tathagata asked the eagle, "Can you not eat it?" ’

The eagle said: 'I don't want to kill it, but if I don't eat it I will starve to death.

Between my death and its death, I had no choice but to let it die. ’

The Tathagata said: "Since you eat it to survive, then I will give you the same meat as him, so you don't have to eat it anymore." ’

Saying this, the Tathagata placed the sparrow on the scale and cut off a piece of flesh of the same weight from itself.

After the eagle ate this piece of meat, it turned into a Garuda and became one of the eight protectors around Tathagata, right? ”

Bai Ze heard this story a long time ago. At first he just thought it was to promote the Tathagata's mercy, but later he felt that there was a lot of hidden meaning in it.

Eagles and sparrows are both disciples of the Tathagata, so they are certainly not ordinary beings.

Will the eagle really die if it doesn't eat the sparrow?

And even if he had to eat meat, why would he have to eat his fellow disciples? There was plenty of pork, mutton, cat, and dog meat, and creatures without spiritual intelligence were very different from those with spiritual intelligence.

Creatures that exploit spiritual intelligence will have their sins recorded in the underworld's register, and they themselves will be infected with extremely heavy evil spirits.

If you eat creatures without intelligence, you won't have these symptoms.

The eagle chased after his fellow sect, and it was a fairy bird with intelligence turned on, so he wanted to eat it. He obviously had his own intentions.

But Tathagata cut off his flesh and fed it to the eagle, but the eagle became one of the important protectors around him. Maybe there was something hidden.

Tang Sanzang said: "That's it. Our Buddha is so compassionate that he cannot bear all sentient beings to eat each other, so he would indeed cut his flesh into pieces and make them into eagles."

Bai Ze said: "There are so many carnivores in the world, can Tathagata save them?"

Tang Sanzang said: "Just because this happened, let me, the Buddha, know that in this world, many living beings feed on flesh and cannot live without flesh and blood.

Even if you are a monk, if you are born in an area inhabited by herdsmen, you must still eat meat. Therefore, the Buddha authorized his disciples to eat the three pure meats. ”

Bai Ze said: "What are the three pure meats?"

Tang Monk said: "Don't see the killing, don't hear the killing, don't kill for me.

Not seeing it killed means not seeing its painful appearance when it dies.

Not hearing the killing means that when it dies, you don’t hear the sound of its painful struggle.

If it is not killed for me, it means that it is not slaughtered specifically to support me.

All meat that satisfies these three conditions will be replaced by the Tathagata's Dharmakaya, so that all sentient beings will not be affected by cause and effect.

Before that, the Tathagata was not a Buddha, and with this merit he became the ancestor of all Buddhas. ”

After listening to Tang Sanzang's narration, it seems that all the previous doubts about eagles eating sparrows have been solved.

Bai Ze said: "In the past, Tathagata cut meat to feed eagles to save sparrows. Since the elder is a disciple of Buddhism, I think he is also very merciful.

My mother and I are in danger now, so please ask the elders to save our lives. ”
